Only the purest Tyrolean mountain spring water, sun-ripened fruits, hand-picked plants and herbs at the right time, as well as other secret ingredients are processed and distilled. Tyrolean mountain farmers supply herbs, roots, seeds and berries for this purpose, and always in excellent and fresh quality. The Swiss stone pine grows at altitudes of over 2000 m in the pure mountain air of the Alps, higher than any other tree. Some of these gnarled pioneer plants have defied the extremely harsh conditions of wind and weather for many centuries. The development of the coveted stone pine cones takes two summers, only then are they collected for the production of this very special liqueur. The nuts of the ripe cones are put into alcohol according to an old tradition using a finely tuned recipe.
