Il Vino dei Poeti Valdobbiadene Superiore is a Prosecco DOCG obtained by vinification of grapes grown on the hills near Treviso, between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco was recognized as a DOCG wine in 2009 and embodies Prosecco quality at the highest level. In the nose typically refined with fruity green apples, pears, citrus fruits and floral acacia and lily of the valley. On the palate harmonious, elegant, balanced, with soft sugar residues and lively acidity. Long lasting and dry in the finish. Grape variety: Glera. Residual sugar: 16 - 18 g/l. Acidity: 5 - 6,5 g/l. Serving temperature: 4 - 5°C. Ageing potential: 18 months. Excellent aperitif, ingredient for cocktails or all-round Prosecco. Harmonizes particularly well with radicchio or asparagus dishes, pasta, risotto, fish dishes or white meat.
