The Frescobaldi family has been producing wines for over 700 years, and its vineyards stretch from the south to the north of Tuscany. Tasting notes:Ruby red with violet highlights. On the nose typical of cherries, raspberries and hints of gingerbread spice and caramel. On the palate very juicy, pleasant, fruity. A slight fresh note emerges. Rounded with some toasted aromas as well as long lasting finish. Grape varieties: Sangiovese. Aging: barrique. Drinking temperature: 16-18 °C. Drinking age: Until 2032. This wine is excellent with bolognese, cannelloni, lasagna, pizza neapolitana and saltimbocca. It is also the ideal companion for sardines, rice balls, polenta and pies.
