The Hans Igler winery is located south of Lake Neusiedl in the sunniest part of Austria. The vineyards of the Igler family cover 40 hectares. The mild Pannonian climate and the loamy and sandy gravel soils provide the conditions for high-quality viticulture. Tasting notes:Dark ruby garnet with violet reflections in the glass. In the nose after black berries, nougat, orange zests, cocoa and cassis. At the palate very elegant with gentle tannins. Long lasting in the finish. Grape varieties: 40% Blaufränkisch, 22% Zweigelt, 25% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Maturation: 18 months in barrique. Soil: gravel, sand, clay. Closure: Natural cork. Acidity: 5,9 g/l. Residual sugar: 1,0 g/l. Storage potential: Up to 10 years. Drinking temperature: 18 °C. The red wine goes perfectly with red meat and spicy cheeses. Best to let it breathe in the carafe for 1-3 hours!
