The Hess Chardonnay is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the Monterey Valley. This wine region is known for producing wonderfully structured, juicy Chardonnays with refreshing acidity and local fruitiness year after year.Tasting notes:Golden yellow with delicate green accents in the glass. In the nose of ripe yellow fruits, William pears, plums, mangoes, mirabelle plums, lemons, limes and apples. On the palate the wine has a strong presence, complex with light vanilla aromas. Long and persistent on the finish. Grape variety: Chardonnay. Vinification: Stainless steel tanks, French barriques. Acidity: 6,1 g/l. Residual sugar: 4.5 g/l. Closure: Natural cork. The Chardonnay goes very well with cold meat dishes, fish, vegetable terrines and vegetarian dishes.
