Silvia Heinrich successfully continues the winery after taking over from her father Johann Heinrich. The best red wine sites are around Deutschkreutz, Goldberg, Hochberg and Siglos. The winery covers 37 hectares of vineyards. The flagship grape variety of Heinrich is the Blaufränkisch. Already 80% of the vineyards are Blaufränkisch land. Tasting notes:Ruby garnet in the glass. On the nose a scent of cherries and spices, orange peel and licorice. On the palate juicy, elegant and fruity. Long lasting on the finish. Grape variety: Blaufränkisch. Aging: 6 months in steel tank and large oak barrel. Soil: clay, limestone. Residual sugar: 1,5 g/l. Acidity: 5,0 g/l. Closure: screw cap. Cellaring potential: 4-6 years. Drinking temperature: 16-18°C. This Heinrich is excellent with beef, cheese and game dishes.
