The Azienda Agricola Poggio Petroso winery was founded in 2013. The aim of this winery is to create excellent wines that reflect the extraordinary potential of the Umbria region. Poggio Petroso Governo All'Uso Toscana is made using the Ripasso method, a traditional process used to refine red wines in northern Italy. The best grapes are selected from the hand-picked ones and then dried for a few weeks. These concentrated raisins are added to the fermented wine and a second fermentation is started. Tasting notes:Ruby red in the glass. Elegant and floral on the nose. On the palate fruity notes of cherries, currants and berry jam. Long lasting on the finish.
