Tommasi Valpolicella DOC 2020 12% Vol. 0,75l

The Tommasi winery covers 40 hectares and is located in Pedemonte, in the historic Valpolicella region of Italy. The family estate was founded in 1902 and is currently managed by Dario Tommasi in the fourth generation. His 3 brothers also help diligently in the cultivation, cellar and distribution. Today, the winery owns 135 hectares of vines. This wine is put into stainless steel tanks for fermentation for 7 days. This is followed by 4 months of aging in stainless steel tanks. Then it is put into 65 hl Slavic oak barrels for 2 months for further aging. Tasting notes:Ruby red in the glass. On the nose aromas of cherries and red fruits. The taste reflects the aromas of the nose. Long lasting and balanced finish. Grape varieties: Corvina 60%, Rondinella 30%, Molinara 10%. Soil: Calcareous clay weathered soils. Residual sugar: 6,0 g/l. Acidity: 5,8 g/l. Drinking temperature: 14-16°C. Storage potential: 5-7 years. This wine is excellent with pasta, pizza and white and red meat.
